Yes, time flies

As contradictory as it may seem,

I am impatient with time

because time waits for no man,

so it certainly doesn’t wait for me,

why do the hands of the clock have to tick so

quickly,

why must life flash before your very eyes,

no longer young,

no longer alive,

because time will not wait,

yes time will not wait,

for time waits for no man as time flies.

So as you waste time wishing and wishing

away,

for moments to pass,

for memories to come back again,

the clock is ticking,

seconds are passing,

minutes are running,

and hours are sprinting away,

practice more patience with time,

and enjoy it before it runs out,

enjoy the time while it lasts because time will

not wait,

yes time will not wait,

for time waits for no man as time flies.
