Silent prayer

Dropping to the ground,

I kneel down and put my hands together in

desperation,

I look to the sky as a desolate tear trickles down

my cheek,

all I want is for someone to hear my plea,

so dear no one,

if you can hear me crying for inner peace,

I kindly ask for you to grant me with the

strength to carry on and look ahead,

remove the melancholy feel that will not

detach itself from me,

free me from the chains which enslave me

against my own free will,

maybe one day I will gather the strength and

break through,

maybe one day I will

finally be,

free.
